I have an unprotected(no password authentication required) network drive that I would like to map at start-up on Ubuntu desktop. I am manually mapping the drive to /mnt/drive, using the command sudo mount //ip_adress/Folder/Folder/Folder /mnt/drive
I have tried this post Proper fstab entry to mount a samba share on boot? and get an error saying cifs: permission denied.
